Production Operations Manager

Loom Talent is supporting a leading, international multi-site service provider in the search for a Production Operations Manager to join one of its key sites in Reading.

This business is experiencing sustained growth and is seeking an ambitious operations leader to drive performance, continuous improvement and team development. We require a motivated individual that has the ability and desire to progress quickly to a Site Manager.

As Production Operations Manager you will hold the following Key Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while maintaining high quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics and service teams to optimise site performance
• Manage budgets, control costs, and support strategic and capital planning
• Maximise productivity, efficiency and utilisation of labour and equipment
• Lead, coach, and develop teams, driving a high-performance and safety-focused culture
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards

The successful applicant for the Production Operations Manager will meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in a production or operations management role within a fast-paced environment
• Degree Educated or hold relevant operational qualifications
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
