Production Technician (3rd Shift) is responsible for operating high-speed equipment in a cGMP environment to produce and package VITEK 2 cards. The role involves setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and documentation of production batches, ensuring compliance with SOPs and validation protocols. Candidates must be certified in at least one high-speed automated equipment, follow safety and cleaning procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of FDA-regulated manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long hours, and work overtime. Personal protective gear such as gloves, gowns, hairnets, and safety glasses are mandatory. The shift runs Sunday to Thursday from 10 pm to 6:30 am, with first shift orientation required during the first week.
