Production Operator

Ashtabula industrial company is hiring for Pultrusion Operators on 1st shift. Hours will be Monday-Thursday from 6am-4:15pm. Pay starts out at $16.50 an hour + Up to $2/hr. Production Incentive once hired in permanently.

Job Summary
The Pultrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring pultrusion machines used in the production of fiberglass or composite materials. This role ensures continuous production line operation, maintains quality standards, and performs routine inspections to verify product dimensions and integrity.

This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities*
* Train and work under the supervision of experienced press operators/trainers
* Assist with press setup and operation
* Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area
* Review production schedules and work orders
* Prepare and release materials for the production process
* Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products
* Prepare products for shipping
* Operate a tow motor when necessary
* Support department employees with troubleshooting production issues
* Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements
* Must be safety-oriented
* Must be able to pass a drug test
* Strong attendance and reliability are required
