Production Operator

We are looking for a PRODUCTION OPERATOR to join our Atlanta, GA plant. As a Production Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will keep plant operations running smoothly, maximize efficiency, and support continuous improvement.

About the Role 

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling the operation of equipment related to loading and packaging bulk and bagged cement.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance.
• Correct any and all malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to coordinator if corrections cannot be made.
• Do any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.
• Safely operate machinery and mobile equipment, to include but not limited to front end loaders, skid steer loaders, and fork lifts.
• Operations of locomotive to include unloading of rail cars
• Taking accurate and reliable silo measurements as required

About You

We Require:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
