They provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and ensure appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic services are available.
The role includes clinical supervision of mid-level providers, nursing staff, and pharmacy, as well as reviewing outside referrals.
They participate in patient rounds, respond to medical emergencies, and maintain accurate records in compliance with privacy regulations.
The position requires an active, unrestricted MI medical license, BE/BC in Family Medicine or Pediatrics, and passing background and child abuse checks.
Attending staff meetings and maintaining proficiency with electronic health records are also expected.
Qualifications include licensure, board certification, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
