To help us drive excellence, youll get to:
• Follows written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed work standard sheets. • Manually loads parts or blanks into machine and place parts into inventory baskets. • Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects, including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc. • Performs first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions and/or as directed by supervisor. • Records and reports production quality and inventory information accurately. • Labels and/or tags parts and baskets accurately. • Punctual and regular attendance is required. • Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
This full-time role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Operations Manager.
Required Experience
Language Skills: • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. • Ability to write simple correspondence. • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
