This position performs a variety of routine and repetitive assembly operations and procedures. To perform these tasks the position uses a variety of operating equipment and tools. Responsible for the preparation of components for assembly or to build product. Works under general supervision where operations are specified by written and verbal instructions and established procedures.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs assembly operations and procedures.
• Exercises responsibility for meeting quality and quantity requirements.
• Adheres to all Safety rules and procedures.
• Maintains a level of attendance and punctuality that meets Company standards.
• Notifies Supervisor or Team Leader of any equipment or supply problems.
• Performs routine SAP transactions. (such as rejects + all the transactions from previous level).
• Works in a safe and efficient manner adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Demonstrate ability to perform basic operations and some advanced operations such as metal grinding at lathes, using polishing lathes and wheels, and using grip stations.
• Performs all operations at a level that meets quality expectations. Must be able to perform at least four operations in three different departments. Three to five of the operations must be Level I operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret operating procedures.
• Must be able to inspect own work.
• Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Demonstrate the safe use of chemicals as applicable within operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Must have 1-2 years related experience.
