POSITION OVERVIEW
- General Production Operator
- Starting Pay: $2643 -$29.97 per hour
- Tiered wages through first 3 years, up to $33.30 after 3 years
- 75-day probationary period
- Time and half pay for all hours worked over 8 hours
- Time and half pay for all hours worked on Saturdays
- Double time pay for all hours worked on Sundays
- Shift differential
- Additional $.35 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift
- Additions $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift
- Production operators who work full time may make $75,000+ in a year, inclusive of overtime. Overtime availability depends upon seniority, shift, job qualifications and business needs.

Your Work Schedule and Shift Information
- 8-hour shift
- 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
As part of our manufacturing team, you will:
- Support packaging and processing operations
- Participate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdowns
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and partner with Maintenance
- Calibrate systems to meet required specifications
- Perform quality and safety checks
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in training new employees
- Assist other plant areas as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
- Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
- Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)
- Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens
- All employees must go through a forklift certification course and are required to drive a forklift
