Job Description
- Provide the production mechanical and electrical assembly effort for a program.
- Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules by working from visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling.
- Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as Chassis, wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torquing and extensive attention to detail.
- Collaboration with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
- Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassembly by following work plans.
- Inspects result to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards
Required Skills:- Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education.
- Needs to be able to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working with large complex builds.
- IPC-J-STD-001 & IPC-A-620 certified
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Chassis & Cable fabrication experience
