Title: Production Operator
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 06 Months (Contract to Hire)
Schedule: Rotating shift every 2 weeks (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $21.91/hr on W2
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Level 1 Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting production operations, maintaining product quality, operating equipment, and ensuring workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
· Operate palletizers, wrappers, banding equipment, and related production machinery.
· Monitor equipment performance and respond to alarms or upset conditions.
· Perform product quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
· Print and apply labels, weigh pallets, and track scrap and inventory.
· Support product changeovers, lace-up procedures, and preventive maintenance activities.
· Assist mechanics during machine outages and downtime activities.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or process-related experience preferred.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive movements for 8–12 hour shifts.
· Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs repetitively.
