Job description:
- Follow established procedures and guidelines form a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process.
- Load materials introduction machines.
- Remove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished products. Collect, and dispose of garbage and production waste according to the organization's waste removal and recycling policies.
- Clean production equipment and work areas.
- Some previous experience or training may be required.
- Must be able work in a physically demanding role.
- The work involves long hours standing and bending. Heavy lifting is also required in at times.
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Is required and sometimes lifting of boxes are greater than 50 lbs. –team lift is expected
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary for the position.
- Knowledge of the inventory database used in an organization is helpful, but workers may learn on the job.
- Must be able communicate in verbal and written English
