Title:         Production Operator I
Location:        Darien, WI, 53114
Duration:        6+ Months
Pay Range:     $21/hr - $22/hr on W2
Shift:        1st shift –5am-1pm with overtime –5am-3pm or 5am-5pm
 
Job description:
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines form a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process.
  • Load materials introduction machines.
  • Remove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished products. Collect, and dispose of garbage and production waste according to the organization's waste removal and recycling policies.
  • Clean production equipment and work areas.
  • Some previous experience or training may be required.
Skills
  • Must be able work in a physically demanding role.
  • The work involves long hours standing and bending. Heavy lifting is also required in at times.
  • Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Is required and sometimes lifting of boxes are greater than 50 lbs. –team lift is expected
  • Basic math and computer skills are necessary for the position.
  • Knowledge of the inventory database used in an organization is helpful, but workers may learn on the job.
  • Must be able communicate in verbal and written English
