Production Operator I

POSITION SUMMARYThe Production Operator I will report directly to the Plant Manager or their designee and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks including blending and packaging of various finished products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Weigh, blend, and package materials in bags, supersacks, and shipping binsLoad and unload raw materials and finished goodsSample raw materials for quality assuranceSubmit daily production recordsOperate a forkliftOperate a wheel loaderOperate a compact track loader/skid steerMaintain a clean and safe working environmentComply with all safety and operating proceduresAssist with maintenance of plant components and mobile equipmentOther duties, as assigned by Management

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or related experience and /or trainingForklift experienceWheel loader operating experienceSkid Steer loader operating experienceAbility to lift 50 poundsPrevious experience in production /manufacturing environmentAbility to work in a team as well as independently
