About the Role:

This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work with a well-established leader in the agribusiness and feed manufacturing industry. Candidates will play a key role in daily plant operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of livestock feed products.

Our client, a leading agribusiness and feed manufacturing company, is seeking experienced Feed Mill Operators for a contract position at their Corson, SD facility. This role involves operating feed mill equipment to manufacture livestock feed and supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate feed mill equipment including grinders, mixers, and batching/pelleting systems to manufacture livestock feed

- Receive, handle, and move feed ingredients; load and unload trucks

- Prepare and manage loadout processes, including opening hatches, attaching hoses, sampling, and ensuring accurate product delivery

- Monitor batching and scaling systems, adjusting processes to maintain feed quality and production accuracy

- Perform routine equipment maintenance such as greasing, inspections, and minor troubleshooting; report mechanical issues as needed

- Maintain a clean and safe mill environment through daily housekeeping, spill cleanup, and general site upkeep

- Operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile equipment

- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards while collaborating with the team to meet daily production targets

Required Qualifications:

- Must meet minimum age requirements

- 1+ years of relevant experience in feed mill, manufacturing, or industrial equipment operation

- Ability to work extended shifts (up to 12 hours/day, 60 hours/week)

- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in feed milling, agriculture, or manufacturing environments

- Familiarity with batching/scaling systems and pelleting equipment

- Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, tractors, track mobile)
