Production Operator I

Position Summary

The Production Operator I will report directly to the Shift Leader and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacksCleaning of the warehouse and equipment as requiredDaily maintenance of equipmentCalls specialists when more serious problems occurTracks various data associated with production equipmentReports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair proceduresWork in compliance with company safety and operating proceduresOther duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalentGood communication and basic math skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Previous experience in a production/manufacturing settingCapable of working in a team and independentlyCapable of following a production report while working independently
