Job Responsibilities

• Operate heavy industrial equipment in the assigned production department.
• Meet daily production goals efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and assigned plant area at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies while wearing the required PPE.
• Complete miscellaneous assignments from management.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, work in tight spaces, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Visual acuity and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification and 2 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• High school diploma.

Preferences

• Experience with Forklift and Feed Mill operations.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.

This is a temp-to-hire position with first shift hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Purina operates 24 hours on three shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
