The Production Operator operates and monitors manufacturing equipment used to produce and package food and beverage products. This position ensures that equipment runs safely and efficiently while maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, monitor, change over, and clean production equipment.
  • Perform quality and weight checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Identify equipment problems and complete minor adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, food-quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Communicate equipment or production problems to supervisors and maintenance.
  • Assist with continuous-improvement and preventive-maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing or machine-operation experience preferred.
  • Consistent and dependable work history.
  • Basic mechanical and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work the required training schedule and transition to a rotating 12-hour night shift.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be interested in a long-term career opportunity.
  • Steel-toe shoes are required; jewelry and exposed piercings are not permitted in production areas.

Training and Work Schedule:

New employees will initially train Monday through Friday on one of the following eight-hour shifts:

  • 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
  • 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

After training, employees will transition to a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Rate: $22/hr
