Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to support aseptic filling, labeling, inspection, and packaging activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position operates multiple pieces of production equipment in both an ISO 7 cleanroom environment and an open-air Controlled Non-Classified (CNC) area.
The Production Operator will be responsible for equipment setup, operation, shutdown, cleaning, product inspection, material replenishment, and accurate completion of digital and hard-copy production documentation. The ideal candidate has prior manufacturing experience in a GMP and ISO-regulated environment, strong attention to detail, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, shut down, and clean aseptic filling equipment within an ISO 7 cleanroom environment.
Operate multiple pieces of filling, labeling, inspection, and production equipment simultaneously.
Perform labeling and quality inspection activities in a Controlled Non-Classified (CNC) environment.
Follow established GMP procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and production specifications without deviation.
Monitor production equipment and proactively address minor jams and routine downtime issues to minimize interruptions.
Report abnormal equipment conditions, product issues, safety hazards, and other concerns promptly.
Complete work orders, batch records, production records, and other required documentation accurately and legibly.
Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy documentation throughout the production process.
Perform visual and physical inspections of products and materials to verify acceptable quality and appearance.
Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Maintain and replenish production materials to support continuous manufacturing operations.
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary production areas in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.
Safely operate production equipment and immediately report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns.
Support production activities outside of the assigned work area as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and management in person, by phone, and through email.
Use computer-based production systems, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other manufacturing software.
Work independently with minimal instruction while contributing positively to overall team performance and production efficiency.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment that follows ISO standards.
Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow gowning requirements, including hood, shoe covers, coveralls, and other required protective garments.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Basic computer literacy, including data entry, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to accurately complete detailed production and manufacturing documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a dynamic production environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a production team.
