Job Title: Production Operator Band: 100 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Lay-Up or Finish Manager Department: Production Job Summary: The Production Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in the production of quality doors. Overnight shift works Sunday - Wednesday 8PM - 6:30AM. There may be occasional overtime on Thursdays. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Operates production machinery in accordance with standard work. Assigned machines may include spreaders, CNC routers, wrappers, saws and any additional equipment required for daily assigned. Produces the required quantity of units within established specifications and tolerances. Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications/tolerances. Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
