Job Title: Production Operator / Packaging Associate

Location:Columbus, NE 68601

Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

Shift: A Shift - 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
Rotation: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr on W2

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Must be able to read, write, interpret, and comprehend English instructions
• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to work flexible/extended hours and maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Drug screening is not required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine production activities including:
  • Filling
  • Utility operations
  • Packing and packaging
  • Assembly
  • Labeling
  • Inspection
• Label packages and boxes accurately
• Bag and package products/materials
• Place materials into appropriate packages and boxes
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Maintain accurate production records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirements
• Perform basic math calculations as required
• Rotate between different production tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Follow instructions and make routine decisions within established procedures
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the production process
• Work effectively with coworkers, Team Leads, and Supervisors

Experience

• 1 2 years of experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience will receive first preference
• Candidates should have basic knowledge of production processes, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to learn and perform routine tasks following prescribed steps

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of handling up to 50 lbs., comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in a non-climate-controlled environment, and has previous manufacturing or production experience.
