Production Operator – Paint Processor in Huron, OH 

Starting pay: $22.61 per hour + $2.00 shift differential  

Shift (2ND shift): Monday- Thursday, 3 PM- 1:00 AM, Overtime as needed on Friday. Will train on 1st shift possibly for the first 3-6 months. Monday- Thursday: 5AM-3 PM.

As a  Production Operator - Paint Processor, you will be part of a team that works together to manufacture quality paints, stains and other materials.  As a key associate on our manufacturing team you will be working with a variety of equipment and materials to complete your daily tasks. Everyday brings an opportunity for you to succeed!  

  

Key Responsibilities May Include   

  • Work in a PSM (Process Safety Management) building that includes solvents and solvent‑borne materials.  
  • Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.  
  • Combining raw materials in a specific order.  
  • Operating mixing equipment based on written instructions.  
  • Utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.  
  • Maintaining accurate records and a clean, orderly work area.  

  

Qualifications   

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.  
  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.  
  • Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.  
  • Able to wear all required PPE, including hard hat, FR uniform, steel/composite‑toe safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.   
  • Able to bend, reach, and lift during tasks that involve transfer hoses, drums, or similar materials.  
  • Follow detailed instructions and record progress.  
  • Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment.  
  • Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.  
  • Ability to safely operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT).  
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., SAP, Vorne, or similar systems).  
  • Ability to complete and demonstrate understanding of required safety training.
