What You'll Do
As a Production Operator (Passivation), you'll play an important role in preparing and testing parts used in our manufacturing process.
Daily Responsibilities
• Operate passivation tanks and related equipment following established procedures.
• Load, unload, clean, rack, and prepare metal parts for processing.
• Monitor chemical solutions and make adjustments to keep processes running efficiently.
• Inspect parts before and after treatment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Record production information and process measurements accurately.
• Safely handle chemicals and follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and production-ready.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and production goals.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance concerns.
• Set up and perform pressure testing on parts and assemblies.
• Monitor gauges, valves, and testing equipment during hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
• Identify and report defects or issues found during testing.
• Cross-train in additional testing processes, including Helium Testing, to expand your skills.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Manufacturing, production, metal finishing, chemical handling, or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for entering production information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with passivation, pickling, plating, or metal finishing operations.
• Forklift certification.
• Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001.
• Experience performing pressure or leak testing.

Physical Requirements
• Standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and typical manufacturing noise levels.
Attendance Requirements
Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
