Production Operator
Location: Junction City, KS
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $17/hr (W2)
Job Summary:
Operate production equipment, follow SOPs, and support manufacturing processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and adjust equipment (coaters, winding, finishing) to maintain product quality
- Inspect, prepare, and package materials as per SOPs
- Build boxes, maintain printers, and manage tools/supplies
- Monitor production schedules and record data (manual & electronic)
- Clean machinery and maintain safe, organized work areas
- Follow safety protocols, identify hazards, and ensure proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with team members to improve quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Ability to follow SOPs, labels, and instructions
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery
- Prior manufacturing/production experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
