    The role:

    A production operator sets up and controls equipment used in the manufacturing process, focusing on safety, quality and production. The qualified candidate needs excellent technical, practical, and problem-solving skills. An operator must be able to troubleshoot the process and equipment and implement solutions and requires good decision-making and communication skills to effectively share information with operators from other shifts.

    The qualified candidate must be able to: (1) perform all jobs related to shipping, receiving and material handling; (2) drive fork trucks for material handling, shipping, receiving and order preparation; and (3) maintain a safe clean work area.

    Operators must be able to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends, various shift schedules and be available for overtime.

    Continuously perform quality checks. Keeping safety first while working in a team-oriented environment.

    The qualified candidate must be able to lift fifty pounds with continuous movement, sit, stand, reach, climb and bend.

    Protective gear including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, high vis clothing in accordance with company policy is required.

    High School Diploma or GED required with relevant experience.
