Job Title: Production Operator – Slide Assembly
Location: Rochester, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support slide assembly operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Pay Rate:

• $20.00 – $24.00/Hour (Based On Exp.)

Shift:

• Rotating Schedule:
  • 2 Days: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 2 Nights: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 3 Days: Off
  • Repeat

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing equipment in slide production processes
• Perform visual and tool-based inspections to ensure product quality
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements
• Complete accurate production and quality documentation
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to reduce downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate issues and escalate concerns to leadership as needed
• Participate in shift handoffs and team coordination
• Maintain training records and follow all safety guidelines
• Support additional production tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to perform basic machine adjustments
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP, SOPs, audits) preferred
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, email, etc.)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Experience with SAP or Lean Manufacturing is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing/lab environment with exposure to chemicals and biological materials
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (up to 75% of shift)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must follow all safety and PPE requirements
