Production Operator | Sanitation
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.
Duration: 12 months, with possibility to extend
Location: South Bend, IN
Address: 3502 Olive Rd.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sanitation & Production Worker to support both sanitation and production operations. This versatile role helps maintain smooth production flow while ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support packaging line activities, including:Product handling
- Labeling
- Weighing
- Sealing
- Palletizing
- Assist with product changeovers and staging materials.
- Perform line clean-up to minimize downtime.
- Clean equipment, tools, and work areas according to food safety and quality standards.
- Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and sanitation schedules.
- Monitor product quality and promptly report issues to the supervisor.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
- Maintain accurate production and sanitation documentation.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles to move materials as needed.
- Move between production and sanitation responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Previous food manufacturing, production, or sanitation experience is a plus, but not required — training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (approximately 55 lbs.).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to perform different production and sanitation tasks.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when required.
