Production Operator

Job Title: Production Operator-Industrial

Location: ST ALBANS, VT

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Summary:

• Be a key member of the manufacturing team performing front-line production processes.
• Operate machinery and equipment, and package the final product.
• Gain skills and experience in taking raw materials to produce final products for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safety practices for self and others.
• Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
• Multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during the production process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Collaborate and follow the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and always respectful.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present.
• Able to wear company-issued PPE and follow safety standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
