Job Title: Production Operator (Slitter) - 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Department: Finishing Operations
Location: Telford, PA
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am)

Position Overview:
As a Slitter Operator, you will be essential in producing finished rolls that match customer specifications and meet rigorous quality standards. This role involves operating slitting equipment, conducting material inspections, documenting results, and packaging finished rolls for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate slitting equipment, including mounting master rolls and adjusting controls
  • Perform visual and quality inspections on materials
  • Collect product samples, label output, and enter quality data
  • Identify and remove non-conforming material, placing material on hold when necessary
  • Complete documentation for production, quality, and shipping
  • Prepare slit rolls for shipment according to requirements
  • Utilize email, intranet, and quality systems
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety and quality protocols; promptly report unsafe conditions
  • Support continuous improvement and training initiatives
  • Work overtime as required to meet production needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and make sound decisions
  • Basic computer skills (email and data entry)
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to process improvements
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
