Job Role: Production Operator
Location: Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Duration: 1 Year
The Production Operator is responsible for managing empty packaging containers, performing container marking and labeling activities, and supporting printing operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate container identification, efficient material flow, and adherence to 5S standards in the drum markup area.
High School Diploma or GED required
Forklift certification
Experience handling and staging 55-gallon drums and industrial packaging containers
Label printer operation and maintenance
Barcode and container label generation
Container marking, stenciling, and identification processes
Print quality verification and label accuracy inspection
Basic troubleshooting of industrial printing equipment
Inventory monitoring of packaging materials
Knowledge of 5S workplace organization principles
Manufacturing experience
Mixer/Blender experience
Experience supporting drum markup or packaging operations
Familiarity with production order and container identification requirements
