Production Operator with Welding Experience

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Production Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, performing assembly and fabrication activities, handling materials, conducting quality inspections, and assisting with light welding and equipment setup. What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform basic MIG welding, fabrication, assembly, grinding, and cutting tasks
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and fabrication drawings
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Maintain inventory organization and accurate material handling practices
• Support housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with production, shipping, maintenance, and management teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing, production, fabrication, or welding experience preferred
• Basic MIG welding experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and production documents
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
