Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable Production Operators to join a manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and production procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to overall operational success.
We are seeking dependable Production Operators to join a manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and production procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times
- Monitor equipment performance and report operational issues or safety concerns immediately
- Accurately record production data, machine settings, and process information
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas
- Conduct visual quality inspections and report defects or inconsistencies
- Assist in other production departments as needed to support operational goals
- Handle materials and products while maintaining quality and productivity standards
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in a loud, hot, and fast-paced production environment
- Ability to wear PPE and operate production equipment safely
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work weekends as required
- Must attend an interview and screening process at our Greensboro office
- Must meet background screening requirements
- Must pass a drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Experience operating production machinery or equipment
- Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures
- Experience working in food manufacturing or industrial production environments
