On-Board PMO is currently hiring Painter in Valley View, Ohio!
Job Description:
- Paint the Manufacturing Area, Offices, Hallways, Bathrooms and Lunchroom
Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior painting task with precision and attention to detail utilizing brushes and rollers.
- Execute drywall repairs, including cutting out damaged areas, installing new drywall, taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Applying primer and other sealants to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them.
- Mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specification.
Qualifications:
- Working experience in hanging, installing, patching, repairing, and finishing drywall
- Strong work ethic; punctual and self-motivated
- Flexible and ability to work weekends and evenings. while traveling to both sites.
- Ability to work independently
- Following safeguards, rules and regulations.
- Removing and reinstalling fixtures (e.g. doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or GED
- Ability to understand and carry out directions from Supervisors
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- A minimum of three years’ experience Painting and Drywall installation/repair
- Basic computer/internet knowledge
Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of physically accessing all exterior and interior parts of the facilities, push, pull, lift carry or maneuver up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to climb ladders
