Production & Packaging Associates for an exciting
temp-to-hire opportunity with a fast-paced manufacturing operation. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working on your feet, and looking for an opportunity that can lead to permanent employment, this could be a great next step.
Previous assembly or production-line experience is preferred, but there are opportunities for candidates with the right work ethic, reliability, and ability to learn.
One Position, Multiple Production Opportunities
Depending on production needs, associates may be assigned to one of three areas:
Decommissioning- Scan product barcodes for decommissioning
- Remove caps and empty product
- Perform entry-level production tasks accurately and efficiently
Pack Out- Package finished products into cartons
- Verify labels and sterilization information
- Run cartons through taping equipment
- Stack completed cartons on pallets
- Ensure products meet packaging and quality requirements
Filler / Machine Support- Monitor production equipment during operation
- Load or remove items from the production line as needed
- Watch for jams, equipment issues, or production interruptions
- Stop equipment and follow escalation procedures when problems occur
- Assist with basic equipment and production-room cleaning
Additional Responsibilities- Stage approved packaging materials and equipment for production runs
- Assist with packaging equipment operation and minor troubleshooting
- Follow established escalation procedures when equipment issues cannot be resolved
- Assist with equipment cleaning and sanitation
- Maintain a clean and organized production area throughout the shift
- Complete required production, packaging, compliance, and safety training
- Accurately complete production and compliance documentation
- Follow all cGMP, safety, quality, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Partner with Quality and other departments to identify and report production or quality issues
- Work with the production team to achieve daily quality and productivity goals
What We're Looking For- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to understand product descriptions, labels, instructions, and required documentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially 8 to 12 hours
- Ability to lift, handle, and push approximately 25 pounds regularly and up to 35 pounds
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize and report production or quality concerns
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or production-line experience preferred
Training Schedule, Please Read CarefullyThe
first week of training will be:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- Training will primarily take place in a classroom setting.
Following training, the regular work schedule will be:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
