Picture starting your morning on a well-orchestrated production floor at Yancey's Fancy in Corfu, NY 14036. As a Production Packaging Technician, you prepare products for shipment with care, precision, and speed. You move from inspecting items to labeling and documenting, keeping your area spotless while collaborating with teammates to meet the day’s targets.
Schedule
1st shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with some overtime.
What You’ll Do
- Package products efficiently in line with company specifications and standards.
- Examine items for quality and accuracy before they’re sealed and sent.
- Apply labels correctly and complete all required documentation.
- Keep your workstation clean and organized to support safety and throughput.
- Work closely with your team to hit production goals and deadlines.
- Support inventory counts and restock materials when needed.
- Notify your supervisor of equipment issues or any safety concerns.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in packaging or manufacturing is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and meeting production timelines.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
