Production Painter 1

PRODUCTION PAINTER

We are looking for a Production Painter 1 to support our paint/wet chemistry department. As a member of the paint/wet chemistry department, you'll get to paint and prime a variety of aerospace structures. This position will serve on-site at Space Structures.

Responsibilities
Coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun. Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications for Production Painter 1
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 9 months of painting or surface prep experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, or manufacturing environment.
US Citizenship required

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a medical/respiratory evaluation for half and full-face respirators, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in enclosed/confined spaces

This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is our intent, this is not a promise to hire by the company. This contract position aligns with our full-time role of production painter.
