PGS Worldwide is seeking a Production Scheduler in Lake Charles, Louisiana for a one year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports aircraft modification and maintenance/repair/overhaul scheduling, including production schedules, resource requirements, staffing profiles, and schedule reporting. The role requires experience with MS Project and involves coordinating production activities across departments.
Required Skills

Experience planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules
Ability to coordinate labor and material resource requirements across departments
Ability to develop and baseline aircraft modification and MRO schedules
Ability to develop staffing profiles based on schedule requirements
Ability to prepare reports and briefing materials for senior executives and Flag Officer-level briefs
Ability to prepare CDRL reports according to applicable DID and DCMA standards
Ability to assess schedule impacts, production constraints, risks, and material availability
Ability to use MS Project and SSI Tools to define Critical Path
U.S. citizenship required

What You’ll Do
Build and baseline aircraft modification and MRO schedules to meet contract time constraints and applicable standards.
Coordinate labor and material requirements across departments to maintain controlled production flow.
Work with Operations to identify specialized staffing requirements and support schedule needs.
Advise management and leadership regarding work status, material availability, production constraints, risks, and schedule impacts.
Work with the Maintenance Operations Center to schedule short-notice, ad hoc requirements.
Brief schedule builds, assumptions, risks, and constraints during Induction Readiness Reviews.
Publish the MS Project Integrated Master Schedule to SharePoint.
Assist departments with production start dates for up to 2,000 tasks to facilitate material coordination.
