Production Planner and Scheduler 2

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Production Scheduler in Lake Charles, Louisiana for a one year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports aircraft modification and maintenance/repair/overhaul scheduling, including production schedules, resource requirements, staffing profiles, and schedule reporting. The role requires experience with MS Project and involves coordinating production activities across departments.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience
• MS Project
• Experience planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules
• Ability to coordinate labor and material resource requirements across departments
• Ability to develop and baseline aircraft modification and MRO schedules
• Ability to develop staffing profiles based on schedule requirements
• Ability to prepare reports and briefing materials for senior executives and Flag Officer-level briefs
• Ability to prepare CDRL reports according to applicable DID and DCMA standards
• Ability to assess schedule impacts, production constraints, risks, and material availability
• Ability to use MS Project and SSI Tools to define Critical Path
• U.S. citizenship required

What You’ll Do

• Build and baseline aircraft modification and MRO schedules to meet contract time constraints and applicable standards.
• Coordinate labor and material requirements across departments to maintain controlled production flow.
• Work with Operations to identify specialized staffing requirements and support schedule needs.
• Advise management and leadership regarding work status, material availability, production constraints, risks, and schedule impacts.
• Work with the Maintenance Operations Center to schedule short-notice, ad hoc requirements.
• Brief schedule builds, assumptions, risks, and constraints during Induction Readiness Reviews.
• Publish the MS Project Integrated Master Schedule to SharePoint.
• Assist departments with production start dates for up to 2,000 tasks to facilitate material coordination.
