Production Planner Keep Production Running. Drive Efficiency. Deliver Results. We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, balance customer demand, and ensure materials, resources, and production activities are aligned for on-time delivery. In this role, you'll collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to optimize production flow, solve scheduling challenges, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do - Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing efficiency, inventory levels, and production costs.
- Review customer orders, contract specifications, drawings, and project documentation to determine production requirements.
- Coordinate production activities across departments and revise schedules as needed due to engineering changes, material shortages, work backlogs, or shifting priorities.
- Partner closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to ensure smooth production flow and timely project completion.
- Analyze production data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and prepare reports to support operational performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring - 3-5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production schedules, and bills of materials.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
