Job Summary
The Production Planner will have responsibility for reviewing sales orders, calculating material requirements, creating production schedules, interpreting drawings, incorporating engineering change notices, preparing shipping documents and coordinating project closeouts. Responsible for on-time delivery of internal and external customer requirements. Works independently with minimal supervision. Assignments may include development projects, prototypes, production orders, spares and repairs. Willing to work extra hours as necessary.

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with material and production planning information systems in a manufacturing environment (ERP/MRP).
Experience working in aerospace environment preferred
Made2Manage experience preferred
Critical analysis of data integrity
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Knowledge of manufacturing processes required
Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing business systems preferred
Basic PC knowledge, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:
Position involves sitting, standing and/or walking. Position requires ability to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects.
The work site is an industrial manufacturing operation and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required in some aspects of the role.
Work usually performed in air-conditioned office environment.
