Job Title: Production Planner / Scheduler

Job Description

This role develops and manages detailed production plans that support fabrication and assembly operations across the full manufacturing lifecycle. The Production Planner / Scheduler oversees the movement of work orders from release through completion, aligning internal production goals with customer delivery expectations.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Review incoming and open orders to identify production requirements and create detailed work instructions
• Use ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or similar platforms) to generate, manage, and release manufacturing work orders and to support material picking and staging activities.
• Work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to identify and resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate schedule changes, risks, or potential delays to internal stakeholders, including customer-facing teams, in a clear and timely manner.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Engineering degree or technical education preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
