Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Clifton, NJ

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Production Planner:

#1. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.

#2. 5+ years of Production Planning, Master Scheduling, or Manufacturing Planning experience within a manufacturing environment.

#3. Hands on ERP or MRP planning experience managing production orders, job releases, and scheduling within systems such as Epicor or similar manufacturing ERP platforms.

#4. Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, data analysis, and production schedule modeling.

#5. Production planning experience in one of the following industries

Responsibilities of the Production Planner:

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on time delivery to customers.

This role works closely with purchasing, engineering, quality, and production teams to balance demand, material availability, and shop floor capacity. The Production Planner monitors work in process, adjusts schedules based on operational constraints, and helps drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, ERP system expertise, and the ability to coordinate production activities within a complex manufacturing environment.
