Responsible for maintaining and developing production plan for owned 1MHV Product lines. Main responsibilities include order dating, ensuring level load of different areas and managing various challenges to balance customer demand vs plant capacity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work directly with Sales Team, Customer Service and Manufacturing to develop shipping schedules that align with customer's needs and production capacity, ensuring all customers get serviced appropriately while balancing plant staffing plans.
- Recognizes and appropriately reacts to issues arising from scheduling problems, capacity issues, production fluctuations and component shortages.
- Maintains and releases workorders using the MRP system. Manage exception reports from SAP.
- Supports OPSD On-time metrics at 92%+.
- Proactively communicates order delays and re-promise dates.
- Act as back up for other Fulfillment roles as needed.
ACTIVITIES
- Run COOIS report daily
- Date orders that require manual review.
- Troubleshoot orders that have defects and contact appropriate responsible for resolution.
- Review CS1 Report
- Determine feasibility on expedite requests
- Review Customer Service comments on orders that require special management.
- Review Email Messages for
- Trouble shooting follow up of orders and shortages
- Expedite requests
- Follow up on past due orders etc.
- Communicate Progress to Sales Representatives and Customer Service on strategic Sales Orders, managing plant communication and messaging.
- Daily Upload of New Dates for SOs, via upload tool.
- Date Corrections
- Date improvements
- Past Due updates
- Proactive Delay Notification
- Participate in Resolution of Component Shortages.
- Proactively update orders that we will miss
- Proactively engage Buyers to minimize shortage impact to customers
- Proactive work with Production leads to prioritizing high visibility Production Orders
- Research and implement deviations with engineering and quality validation.
- SAP and MES Data integrity
- Maintains manufactured part parameters in the MRP systems
- Provide visibility to team lead when systemic issues arise with MRP settings.
- Identify orders that don't correctly reflect demand in MES.
- Monitor and Provide Visibility to Customer Service on Order Management issues that prevent us from servicing customers. (Blocks, incompletions, credit holds, etc.)
- Participate in Weekly Team Fulfillment Meetings.
- Run "Driver File" Shortage and Capacity Report
- Provide Visibility to High Impact Orders.
- Participate in cross functional teams to:
- Coordinate new product launches and Documentation Update Rollouts (refresh, reroll BOMs) .
- Testing of IT initiatives for SAP improvements.
- Implement General Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Evaluate and Manage Rework Requests.
- Work with technology and Manufacturing to evaluate and quote reworks for customers
- Coordinate return and SO management with CS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Supply Chain experience: Customer service, Fulfillment, Manufacturing
- Must be willing to take on difficult conversations with Sales and Customer Service when original production plan is met with issues, must have the ability to maintain a positive approach and messaging when dealing with challenging communications.
- Strong leadership skills with proven leadership success throughout career
- Working Knowledge of SAP
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interface with multiple levels of internal and external customers
- Comfortable initiating and implementing change within an organization
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, methodical and detail oriented.
- Detailed, analytical, and results oriented
- Ability to take complex situations and simplify for straight forward solutions.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited university or college, OR with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience(customer service, fulfillment, procurement etc.)
- SAP Super User
- Exceptional team player with Customer First mentality
- APICS Certification, a plus
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $60,000-$76,000.
