Production Planner II
We are looking for a Production Planner to join the Ducommun team to prepare daily work schedules, track work progress, update and communicate project critical path schedules, and advise leadership of needed adjustments to daily work activities.

Job Summary
------------
- Prepare daily work schedules, track work progress, update and communicate project critical path schedules, and advise leadership of needed adjustments to daily work activities
- Complete ownership for planning and issuing work orders, reviewing expedited requests, and assisting in the daily production schedules along with driving adherence to the appropriate planning horizons
- Acts as liaison to departments to assist in providing a tactical and projected flow of required materials
- Develops metrics to measure manufacturing performance to schedule lead time, schedule attainment, and schedule adherence, and works with production to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Expedite schedule and process OSV orders
- Conducts various gap and postmortem analyses between schedules and actuals, identifying key drivers for discussion in a future state
- Focus on continuous improvement within scope of responsibilities for developing, improving, and implementing sound materials management practices
- Super accuracy of internal logistics movement of critical work
- Ensure ITAR compliance and control through secured and coded correspondence and designated approved communication portals
- Supporting Audits internal and external
- Performs other duties as assigned, including leading projects and participation in project committees.
