**Production Planner **

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders using inventory and MRP system data to maintain material availability and support uninterrupted production operations
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery of inbound materials and production components
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct material research and analysis, and prevent shortages or overstock situations
• Collaborate with production, operations, and cross-functional teams to support scheduling, material flow, and supply chain issue resolution
• Track and communicate key performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement, safety, environmental, and 5S initiatives

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred with at least 3 years of supply chain, purchasing, or materials planning experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing processes, logistics coordination, and basic MRP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems with the ability to analyze data and generate reports
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work across departments and supplier networks
• Ability to analyze root cause issues, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
