Our client is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage end‑to‑end production scheduling, material coordination, and capacity planning within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production activities align with customer demand, resource availability, and operational goals. Success requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional communication, and the ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales to integrate demand forecasts into production plans.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all production orders and documentation.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Determine outsourcing needs based on plant capacity, lead times, and customer requirements.
  • Identify capacity constraints and recommend solutions to improve throughput and reduce delays.
  • Use MRP systems to manage material requirements, monitor inventory levels, and release work orders.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Participate in regular production meetings to review performance, resolve conflicts, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize labor and equipment utilization.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Production Planner, Material Planner, or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP, production planning, and supply chain principles.
