What are you going to do?\n \nThe Production Planner is responsible for controlling and coordinating all materials from the moment they arrive at the VUSA production facility, ensuring warehouse availability, production\u2011ready completeness, and full bill\u2011of\u2011material readiness for all machine projects. This role protects uninterrupted assembly operations by performing thorough incoming inspections, completeness and quality checks, and maintaining accurate on\u2011site material status. Ongoing coordination with the Netherlands as the primary supplier, along with proactive communication with internal production teams, ensures materials are ready, accurate, and compliant to support efficient factory operations.\n \nWhat is your preferred work location?\n \nWe ask\n\n Own material planning at the machine, module (kit), and component levels to ensure complete and timely readiness for assembly within the production facility.\n \n\n Verify that all materials arriving at the production facility meet correct configuration, quantity, and project allocation requirements before being introduced into production workflows.\n \n\n Serve as the accountable owner for confirming 100% completeness of materials, kits, and modules before releasing work to assembly.\n \n\n Prevent interruptions by making recommendations about halting or delaying assembly if materials are incomplete, incorrect, or non\u2011conforming, escalating to Production Management.\n \n\n Identify and communicate production\u2011impacting material risks early, driving corrective actions with Production Management, Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics, and suppliers.\n \n\n Serve as the central material\u2011planning contact for Assembly, Warehouse, Quality, and Production Planning within the production facility.\n \n\n Lead resolution efforts for missing, incorrect, or non\u2011conforming materials in coordination with Works Office.\n \n\n Support the maintenance of strategic material buffers and decoupling points relevant to the production facility's operations.\n \n\n Maintain visibility into material status, completeness, shortages, and risks through dashboards and reporting shared with Production Management and Global Supply Chain.\n \n\n Escalate critical shortages or systemic material issues promptly and in accordance with escalation procedures.\n \n\n Maintain accurate inventory levels for all project\u2011related materials stored or used in the production facility and report inventory trends, shortages, or overages to Production Management.\n \n\n Other Duties as assigned.\n \n\n \nWe offer\n\n Flextime policy\n \n\n Paid Time Off (i.e., PTO) that can be used as it's accrued\n \n\n Paid Leave Days\n \n\n Paid Holidays effective date of hire\n \n\n Medical insurance (i.e., three plans available, PPO, HMO, and PPO with HSA) effective date of hire\n \n\n Dental care\n \n\n Vision care\n \n\n 100% Voortman USA LLC paid life insurance\n \n\n Additional voluntary life insurance option\n \n\n 100% Voortman USA LLC paid short-term disability\n \n\n 50/50 premium split between Voortman USA LLC and employee for long-term disability (i.e., LTD)\n \n\n* 401K plan available with Company contribution\n \n\n \nAbout Voortman\n \nJoin Voortman \u2013 Moving to Our New Production Facility and Offices in April 2026\n \nVoortman is growing and we're preparing to move into our brand-new Production Facility and Offices in April 2026.
