To continue to meet our customer’s mission critical needs, PDC is seeking a Production Planner, Circuit Card Assembly.
This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, Long Island, New York Headquarters.
This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a department of state or commercial license.
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000.
The role of Production Planner is to act as a liaison between Inside Sales and the Manufacturing department, providing accurate lead-time and delivery information. This is a primary role in the execution of the company’s revenue targets.
Essential Functions:
· Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres to the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
· Converts backlog/bookings into demands for MRP via Materials Resource Planning System.
· Maintains an in-house Master Production Schedule for NY Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Department.
· Writes monthly Mini Plan and follows the progress through to execution.
· Analyzes MRP data and adjusts as required.
Works closely with purchasing team reviewing and prioritizing kits.
· Assists Inside Sales where necessary and keeps them apprised of any changes to schedule dates that may occur.
· Expedites Material/WIP in order to meet customer’s required dates.
· Reports status of quarterly plans to upper management in a clear and concise manner.
