At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking aProduction Planner Supervisor who will supervise and coordinate production planning activities for optical components and systems.Main ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead the production planning team for optical manufacturing operations e.g. lenses mirrors coatings assembliesDevelop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders forecasts and capacity constraintsCoordinate material requirements planning MRP to ensure availability of raw materials and componentsMonitor production progress and adjust plans to address delays equipment issues or supply disruptionsCollaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with optical specifications and tolerancesOptimize workflow capacity utilization and throughput in high-precision manufacturing processesAnalyze production data and KPIs on-time delivery cycle time yield WIP levels to identify improvement opportunitiesImplement continuous improvement initiatives Lean Six Sigma to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteCommunicate production status risks and mitigation plans to management and stakeholdersTrain mentor and evaluate planning team membersEnsure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standardsOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelors degree in Operations Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience in production planning scheduling or manufacturing operationsAt least 1-2 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experienceExperience working in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ERPMRP systems SAP a plusStrong organizational communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data toolsBenefits start day 1 Medical Dental Vision 401K Holiday Pay PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disability.Pay Range 90000 - 110000 per year depending on experience.LI-FM1 LI-OnsiteLI-FM1 LI-OnsitensiteThis position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ITARVisa sponsorship is not available for any position at ExcelitasEqual OpportunityAffirmative Action EmployerMinoritiesFemalesDisabilityVeteranGender IdentitySexual OrientationExcelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team Visit httpsjobs.excelitas.com
