Production & Tolling Planner (Supply Chain)
Location: Northbrook, IL
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & Tolling Planner to support production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in coordinating production schedules, managing tolling activities, maintaining ERP data integrity, and ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate production activities with external toll manufacturers, third-party partners, and intercompany locations.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and forecasting data within the ERP system (D365 experience preferred).
Support daily production scheduling based on customer demand, production capacity, and material availability.
Monitor tolling operations and material movement to ensure timely product availability.
Generate and analyze reports related to production status, inventory levels, floor stock, forecasts, and tolling performance.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and IT teams to resolve planning issues and improve operational processes.
Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
25 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, inventory control, or data management.
Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience is highly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and identify trends.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate system data.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
APICS certification or related supply chain certification is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000 $90,000 annually (based on experience)
