Job Summary
Under the direction of the Master Scheduler & Materials Manager, perform planning administrative functions to ensure remanufactured and packaged products meet on-time delivery and forecasted demand.
Key Departmental Responsibilities
- Reviews, releases, and schedules production orders for Remanufacturing and Packaging Teams.
- Work with the Remanufacturing and Packaging Leads with assistance from Master Scheduler & Materials Manager to schedule production and prioritize orders to meet on-time delivery.
- Assist Remanufacturing, Packaging, Product Management Teams, Procurement, and Core to coordinate the allocation of raw materials to support build plan.
- Opportunities to collaborate with Quality, Warehouse, Inventory, Sales, Engineering, and FIE as needed to ensure efficient department operations.
- Assist Master Scheduler & Materials Manager with identifying at risk items to prevent future part outages and downtime.
- Work with Customer Service, Sales and PMT’s to communicate ship dates for future orders and backorder statuses.
- Assist in updating bill of materials and routings for produced products as requested by Engineering, Procurement, and PMT’s.
- Assist in updating weekly and monthly performance metrics to share with management team.
- Operates in conformance with the requirements of the Diesel Forward quality management
- Assists other employees both in and out of the department.
- Provides feedback on system needs/changes.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have strong organizational, planning and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems required. Customer service and quality oriented. Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., standing, walking or sitting for up to 4 hours at a time, and bending or stooping.
