Production Planning Specialist (Temporary – 3 Month Assignment) - $16-$28/hr
Schedule:
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMOR
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday–Friday
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules that support on-time customer delivery, efficient inventory levels, and optimal production capacity. This role works closely with production, materials, and other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-term, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
- Create and adjust production schedules based on customer demand and inventory.
- Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling or capacity issues.
- Coordinate with production, materials, and logistics teams to meet delivery goals.
- Identify planning risks and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bilingual Japanese and English required.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Work Environment
- Office setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Assignment Details
- Temporary 3-month assignment
- Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
