Qualifications:This opening is for FOUR Production Operators, 2nd Shift: 2 - 10pm with a paid 30-minute meal break.Training for the position may take place during 1st shift hours (6:30AM - 3:00PM) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.
Responsibilities:Production Operator (2nd shift)As a Production Operator you will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing production functions in the PSA, Die Cutting, Silicone and Epoxy forming.RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:• Assemble parts according to blueprints meeting quality and quantity objectives.• Complete necessary paperwork online as needed.• Quality check parts in the assigned process.• Operate equipment in the Production areas.• Know daily goals and targets to meet.• Read work orders, follow engineering drawings and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties.• Rotation to all departmental jobs with this job classification.• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.• Perform necessary task in the company's computer data entry system (QAD)• Maintain organized and clean Production area.JOB QUALIFICATIONSRequirements:• High school Diploma/GED (required)• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment is preferred• Second shift 2:00PM - 10:00PM (required) overtime as needed by the business.In addition, successful candidate must meet the following physical qualifications, with or without accommodation:• Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.• Ability to work with a variety of glues, solvents, and chemicals.• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.• Ability to lift 50 lbs on an occasional basis.• Ability to read and comprehend simple work instructions, engineering drawings and company policies.• Ability to perform simple math problems such as addition and subtraction of 2-3 digit numbers.• Attention to detail.
